About me

Many of my clients feel overwhelmed and drained by the demands of daily life. They often struggle with ongoing anxiety and depression, trying to juggle and maintain responsibilities at home, school, work, and within relationships. Many of my clients have ADHD or autism and are living in a world set up for neurotypical folks. As a neurodivergent clinician, I help clients develop self-compassion, along with mindfulness, executive functioning, self-regulation, and communication skills. I also support parents and caregivers to improve communication, set boundaries, and facilitate independence with their teens and young adult children.

Clients and I also find ways to extend their support beyond their individual therapy, including pursuing educational plans (504 or IEPs), workplace accommodations, and/or neurodivergent-affirming assessments. I also offer several counseling and educational groups to create more support. Visit www.LindaCooperGroups.com for a full list of available groups.

The primary reason I offer groups is to increase the availability and accessibility of clinical and research-based information on ADHD & autism spectrum disorder/difference and to help participants learn skills, create community, and advocate for themselves. Please contact me to arrange a no cost 15-minute text, email, or phone consultation. Thank you!
